Our smart wash system integrates four distinct technologies to achieve results traditional cleaning simply cannot match.

Softwash

Biodegradable, eco-friendly cleaning solutions applied at low pressure. Unlike pressure washing, softwash penetrates deep into the surface to kill biological growth — algae, lichen, mould, moss — at the root. This prevents regrowth and means your building stays cleaner far longer. No damage to delicate surfaces.

Deionised Water Rinse

Our vans carry industrial-level reverse osmosis filtration systems capable of producing pure deionised water on-site. Deionised water has no minerals or ions, causing it to actively attract and absorb contaminants — acting like a magnet. The result: a completely streak-free, residue-free finish every time.

Hot Water System

Our hot water delivery system heats water up to 70°C, connected directly to both our softwash and jet wash systems. Hot water significantly accelerates dissolving of grease, bird soiling, and solidified dirt — reducing cleaning time and the pressure needed to remove tough contamination.

Aerial Jet Wash

For exceptionally heavy contamination — thick moss, stubborn staining, heavy bird fouling — our industrial drones can deliver jet wash at up to 3,500 PSI directly from the air, without affecting flight stability. We always apply at the minimum pressure required to avoid surface damage.

01 Step

Site Survey & Assessment

Before any cleaning begins, our certified pilots conduct a comprehensive site assessment. We evaluate the building materials, level and type of contamination, local airspace restrictions, and any access considerations. This allows us to formulate the perfect cleaning solution and plan the operation precisely.

02 Step

Solution Formulation

Our softwash solution is custom-mixed on-site for each job — adjusting the concentration and chemistry to match the specific surface material and contamination type. The wrong solution on the wrong surface can cause damage; our expertise ensures the perfect match every time.

03 Step

Softwash Application

Our heavy-lift drone applies the softwash solution at low pressure across the entire surface. A foam stage is often incorporated to help the solution adhere to vertical surfaces. The solution is then left to dwell for approximately 30 minutes — penetrating deep to kill biological growth at the root.

04 Step

Hot Deionised Water Rinse

After the dwell period, the drone delivers a thorough rinse using pure heated deionised water. The heat accelerates dirt removal while the deionised water's magnetic attraction to contaminants ensures every trace is lifted cleanly from the surface — leaving an immaculate, streak-free finish.

05 Step

Quality Inspection

Our pilots conduct a final aerial inspection of the completed work, capturing photographic evidence of the result. If any areas require additional attention, a second pass is performed. We don't sign off until the result meets our high standards — and yours.

Are the chemicals harmful to the environment?

Our softwash solutions are 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly. Even solutions that use dilute bleach components are at a concentration that — when diluted with water and rinsed — is environmentally safe. How high can the drones reach?

Our heavy-lift drone systems are optimally effective for buildings from 3 to 15 storeys in height. This covers the vast majority of commercial and industrial buildings. For structures outside this range, we conduct a site-specific assessment and propose the best combined approach.

What qualifications do your pilots hold?

Every job is attended by a minimum of two pilots who have passed the rigorous CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) certification process for heavy-lift drone operations. This is among the most demanding aviation certification available for commercial drone pilots.

How long does the cleaning effect last?

Because our softwash method kills biological growth at the root — rather than just removing surface-level contamination — results typically last significantly longer than conventional pressure washing. The precise duration depends on the environment, but our clients consistently report needing fewer cleans per year after switching to Helio.

Can you clean solar panels without damaging them?

Yes — this is one of our core specialisms. Our non-contact softwash method never touches the panel surface, eliminating any risk of micro-scratches that reduce panel transparency over time.
